In the recent Project Needlemouse hype on several News sites I noticed something!10 Years after Sonic´s Creation he became a redesign, a more skater-type like Sonic, now, 10 Years AGAIN have passed and you have to wonder why Sonic Team hasn´t shown any Sonic Artwork yet, I mean, if they use the same Greeneyed Sonic, why not show him?
So, I´m not counting a redesign out just yet, it could be that they are giving Sonic a brand new look for another Decade to come!
I was wondering how the redesign would be like if they would do it, and I had the idea, ... maybe they are going to combine old and new to form a new design? I mean a compromise could please the torn apart fanbase .... maybe!
So, I did this Pic in 2 hours and postet it just to see what people think, so far it´s been pretty positive!

I think Sonic looks better shorter. The lanky limbs that modern has don't really fir with the base design. He's supposed to resemble a cartoon character.

I like this a hell of a lot. It closely resembles his 3D model on the first Sonic Adventure game on the Dreamcast. His pudgy upper body from my view it seem more convincing that he could curl into a ball.-
