oh my god, that hair is just uterly fantastic. the veriaty of tones in it really brings it to life and i love the way it blurs out. there's something really clear cut about this picture and the charater himself practicaly oozes attitude.

The hair is absolutely fantastic (how on earth did you do it?). It looks like you used a single brushstroke for each [bunch of] hair strands. In fact, the way you painted this gives the effect that it only took you a few very well placed brush strokes to create the picture as a whole. And the face is amazingly awesome-looking. So clear and real.

its nothing special really, its just the brush that makes the cool strokes, but yeah it was just one stroke per group of strands
