awesome painting. but from a purely functional point of view, wouldn't the poor guys neck brake if he got hit with full force on the beak of the helmet?

yoshitaka amano is the first thing that came to mind but after looking at it for awhile it kinda looks like final fantasy cecil when he was the dark knight. Either way this is friggin awsome

I dunno whether to consider that either Kain or Cecil. Where the eye is painted on the armor, it looks like dragoon armor. If so, that's an awesome Kain rendering. My assumption at least.

For some time now this picture has been my computer background, my planner background, and in general floating about my mind. I think that it is because that despite it being a simple picture of a style of armour, the wearer looks so sad. Did you intend it to be that way, I wonder? It's beautiful, for many reasons.
