Description
The beginnings of a direction for this comic strip...I was pretty happy with the gesture of the first panel, especially because I used no photo or mirror reference. One of my other passions is movement/exercise, and I think that comes in handy when illustrating human movement. I have a good idea of what a particular position "feels" like, so it makes it easier to draw. The radial lines in the last panel irk me a bit, I might redo them at a future date if I ever compile all these into a book. The Squid of Destiny was just one of those random phrases my brain periodically throws at me that I just have to write down and figure out why later.
