I finally found the means to touch up my latest creation. My favourite princess out of all the ones I've EVER came across in games or cartoons. you know, I do draw other characters too! I'm not a Mario-feen or a Sonic-feen like some users on here who can't find the means to expand their art. and this princess is proof that my gallery needed to be refreshed! All hail the powerful Azula! I'm kidding, that was a small joke. Only at age 14, she's considered to be one of the most deadliest fire benders next to her father fire Lord Ozai. She was a key enemy of Team Avatar, chasing Avatar Aang and her banished brother far across the Earth Kingdom accompanied her two best "friends" Mai and Ty Lee.

A Firebending prodigy, Azula is sadistic, manipulative and she is obsessed with power. She is a skilled tactician who orchestrated the Fire Nation victory over the Earth Kingdom capital Ba Sing Se and halted the invasion on Day of Black Sun. One trait I really admire about her is that she's VERY manipulative. holding her own in power, agility and intelligence, she can pretty much outsmart anyone. A devious trait that makes this princess who she is. Remember kids: it takes more than a strong arm and good eye sight to be a warrior. Only at age 14, and she's the deadliest as they get. The avatar HIMSELF barely stood his own against her on numerous occasions during battle.

However, Azula's character begins to be focused on more in Book 3. An episode entitled The Beach was pretty much the daily lifestyles of the villains. As the season advances, Azula's obsession with power costs her the trusts of her only friends Mai, Ty Lee and the chances of becoming Fire Lord. With the traitor-ship of Mai and Ty Lee demonstrated in the episode The Boiling rock parts 1 & 2, she realizes when you take power to its limit you loose the most valuable thing you cherish in life: your family and friends. With Zuko determined to right the wrongs of the Fire Nation, Azula is turned on by her only two friends in the world: May and Ty Lee. Betrayed by Mai and struck down by Ty Lee, Azula seethes in rage. Azula's flawless demeanor is shattered by the unanticipated betrayal of Mai during the events at the Boiling Rock prison facility. Her calm demeanor begins to loose its edge.

Last but not least, her battle with Zuko proved to be her most difficult challenge. As her state of mind crumbles upon her defeat, she cries in despair. Her dreams of fire Lord are no longer or WILL BE a reality.

I'll take the time to explain the image. This is the first time, I drew an image leaving no white space present. The calligraphy present on the right side of her are the symbols of fire and power. I researched the many symbols for fire, and I really admired the way it was written in the cartoon. the other symbol next to fire means "power and might" I drew it vertically instead of horizontally. That was space would be present. This is a new technique, and I'll try it with a few other avatar character. hopefully Mai or Toph. I really want to do one with Katara and Zuko. But i can't find any good references for either do do it so I realized Azula would be the perfect choice and not only that but she's my favourite character. Unlike those airhead princesses Peach, Daisy, Rosalina, and Zelda from Nintendo, this princess is only a kid...and at age 14 she's stronger, faster and deadlier than all 4 of them. Remember, Azula's powers are somewhat like Katara's: they both can kill people. Relying on a plumber to travel the same desert, lava and sky areas just to rescue gets a bit tedious. Take charge and fight. Relying on an elf to come to your aid with a puny sword is also retarded. (and yes, I don't like Zelda games or the characters. so if you feel offended that I'm dissing them then tuff' shit, my son). Azula is only a child and she along with Katara have the potential to kill.
