Sorry about last night. I don't know why I uploaded that version so here's a smooth, better scanned and updated version. Last night I kept looking at the right side and I eased it. Mario's pose needed more attention and I changed Vegito to Gogeta.
I present to you...my last and FINAL image of the year 2009. A nice way to end the year with a portrait shot of some of the greatest heroes ever *EVER*. I present to you the Queen *not princess* of the Sarasland, The young and cheerful Queen Daisy. A wardrobe upgrade once again has taken effect. I've drawn this girl in her dress, the traditional sports outfit, in lingerie, the *Cell Games* outfit, and now a velvet dress with a rich and fluffy hood. I wonder where her little rabbit is? And top it off, she's accompanied by group of allies, friends and inhabitants that pledges under the birth of royalty...
Alright, enough kidding around. This is my way to show appreciation to an artist on the DeviantArt site known as *NatSilva . A young artist with a taste of Nintendo's mascot Mario, wachaa. But it's not everyday friends, watchers and stalkers get to see another rich and tasteful idea in their watch bin by this artist. So because of this, it was the only way to release another portrait shot dedicated to that person...ALL THE WAY in Australia. I worked my ass of on this image. Take a gander at what you got here. Full-view the image...and look at the detail and effort I put into Daisy's velvet dress. Well, under circumstances it wasn't an easy process. I needed some sort of motivation, so due the incredible amount of recognition, this image was the answer.
I present to you the characters in no particular order: Queen Daisy, Gohan, Gogeta, Sonic the Hedgehog, Super Mario and the rarest of them all, Serena the Sailor Scout *Sailor Moon or Usagi*. This is the last hope for long lost race...and it's not to bad of an image considering the amalgam of time I had. I even pulled an ALL-NIGHTER on Christmas Eve. But the final result of this image is very pleasing. It shows how my shading and technique style has evolved over the year. I remember I couldn't even do things with pencils. But this image wasn't created with some regular pencil. As an early holiday gift, I treated myself with a set of Faber-Castell pencils. They are the ideal tools for any pencil artist who is interest in advancing in the field of shades and shadows. The use of the pencils are easy if you know a good deal about shadows and how to develop them. There are 12 pencils in the case ranging from 2H to 8B. Each pencil has it's own tint and use. This image presented to you took about 6 different pencils for different sources of shades. It's not to hard actually but it was quite enjoyable. Don't get to fierce about Vegito and Sailor Moon, I sort of rushed those two for schedule purposes. Those were last minute characters.
So to end this entry, I want to wish everyone a happy holidays, I hope everyone has a safe and blessed holiday. Happy New Year fellow artist and enjoy the rest of your R&R.

I know I already commented on the first version, but I like how it looks now a lot better. I like Mario's pose better than the last one, and I love how you added some color to Sailor Moon ^.^

True to your word, I believe it all. I for one felt that it needed more work, As a bonus I scanned it much better so when I saw my image scan in the preview it came out crisp and dark and I was so pleased. When my images look like this, I feel good for some strange reason.

I always felt great when my images were scanned clean and crisp when I was in graphic communications a few years back. I got the same feeling, and that just means that you're prouder of your work then you were before you scanned it. You're prouder now then you were when you scanned it the first time ^.^

I gotta say, I love how you did her velvet dress, my attention is just drawn to how well you did the wrinkles and the textures in her fur cloak. Her dress really brings out her natural female curves. I definitely see all the effort you put into her outfit! Also, I like the change you made from Vegito to Gogeta. Great job.

Thank you. I told you that it was bugging me. I'm glad I got it off my chest. To be honest I like the result of what it turned out. And Gogeta was a last minute decision. Vegito is cool, but its that same pose I use that keeps fighting with me. Well I conquered it, and I scanned it on a better scanner so it looks crisp.

Yes you did. But I never replied to it due to message pile up on junk. But you've seen the previous image. And if you have already seen it, then this image is an upgrade of THIS IMAGE! There are notable differences but I felt that the right side needed some more attention. So I had to fix a few things and this image posted once more was the final result.:] I scanned it on a better scanner at a Kinko's Office place near my campus. So the scanners there are much better. in terms of quality.
