please full view!I decided that it was time to do some "digital painting." don't know if this counts but it was a good warm-up. i'm fond of the painterly look of it, but not so fond of how the colors turned out. blech. actually the only part i really like is the shading on her face. yeeeeeah. but i figured it was time to post so HERE YOU GO!
So this is Lily Evans (soon Potter,) telling another story about something ridiculous james did to get her attention. in the sketch she has many adoring friends in various stages of hysteria but she was my fave so i just cut them.
yes, i AM aware that her bag dissappears into the oblivion. i worked so damn hard on that skirt so screw the bag. she's a witch, n'est pas? it's invisible. har har har

A wonderful take on Lily. This picture has a lot of character. I especially love her face - the expression, but also how she seems a little pale and her hair not overly shiny - you know, human rather than Manga.

...Gods. I have totally fallen for your art. I think it's wonderful, and you are surely on the top of my list of Idol-artists. I think your art, style, technique, EVERYTHING is just beautiful.
