After a very long hiatus, the beloved species Gachagons is back up and running! I have been apart of this community since it opened almost 3 years ago, and it is what pushed me to branch out in my art! The community is full of lovely, kind, and talented people who all share a love for creating characters and stories together!

But just what are Gachagons you may ask? Well they are a closed species that takes the concept of Gachapon machines and merges them with dragons! So each Gachagon has a pouch, usually on their stomach, filled with magical fluid that holds their gacha prizes. They have a slot on their back where you can give them their currency, and in return, you receive a prize! They are a very creative species with not very many limits like most closed species. The group prides itself on creativity and communication, so anything you can dream of most likely will fit right in with a gachagon design!

As for what a closed species is, this means that these creatures are not free to make by yourself! Of course, we do not own the idea of gachapons or dragons, or even the simple mix of the two, rather it is the lore behind them and their special characteristics (the gachapouch and cheekslights and the prize/currency mix) that makes them unique and a species of their own! In the species group itself, it is really easy to earn a MYO slot to make one yourself! No real money is required! We do have artist who will make custom designs for money of course, but at the core of the species, it is as free and accessible as can be! We regularly host raffles where we give away species currency and myos and items that you can win to buy or create your very own creature!

Soon we are going to be hosting our very first Lore Event! As well as Free MYO Event! So if you join and stick around, you are sure to find and learn more and get an opportunity to grab a gacha of your own!

For example, these two featured here are two of my own personal Gachagons: Lovespell and Ophelia! Lovespell is my first ever gachagon and she was created on February 14, 2021. Her currency is buttons, and when you give them to her, she gives you a gacha of glitter pens! Ophelia is my staff representative gachagon! She has a currency of river rocks, and in return, she gives you beautiful flower crowns or bouquets! There is no real limit to what you can make and share within this species!

On site, we have the ability to customize each gachagon's profile, so here are Ophelia and Lovespell's examples!
