Been feeling a bit of an itch to rework the designs for the characters in the collaboration we're doing. So, figured why not give the characters a design overhaul? Starting here with Brave-King-Shishio 's main, the reincarnation of King Arthur himself. Now that I'm more adept with armor and weapons, this was a pretty fun thing to do.

Arthur was going through a rough patch in his life, trying to cope with his foster-father's disappearance and dealing with his more advanced education in London. Everything changed when he was attacked by a massive, black dog and got rescued by a talking, magic jackalope. After that, he was brought into Grimmwoods where his entire perception of reality was turned upside down, since it turned out he was a magically-displaced reincarnation of Artorius Pendragon (better known in our world as King Arthur), the ruler of Camelot who was one of the figures who helped forge the Golden Age. Pretty much thrust into this adventure with four complete strangers and not-so-familiar characters from fairy tales and old stories, he became something of a rallying point after reclaiming the ancient sword, Excalibur. With the return of him and Beowulf, things appear to be taking a good turn as hope begins returning to Grimmwoods.

While coming off as snarky, nonchalant, and a bit abrasive, Arthur's someone who has very strong ideals and cares very much about people. His initial persona is more of a defense mechanism than anything else, since his father's disappearance greatly affected him. When positioned against great odds, though, his initial reaction is the one that will benefit the most people.

He possesses a little magical abilities, but it's nowhere near the level of Aaron or Merlin. His main weapon throughout volume 1 is Excalibur, a fairy-forged sword possessing great light magic. When it stores enough power, it can be released in a powerful burst of magic. And, as the story continues, his arsenal increases granting him even more abilities as it goes.
