Applebloom stepped through the soft grass. The smell of apples filled the air and she knew she was home. It was dark and everypony was asleep. A smile crept onto her face. She wondered if she should just go up to her room and crawl in bed. Would they hug her and cry and be happy? Or would they run in fear of her? She looked at her hooves. More color was coming back. She smiled and walked inside the gates. The stars shimmered above her as she walked toward the house. She looked up to see no moon...Luna must have known of her escape plan and had aided her by giving shadows to hide in. She passed the clubhouse and thought of her friends. Would they be afraid? She wondered what they had done to try for their cutie marks since she'd been gone. Maybe they had them already! She stopped in front of the door of the house and took a deep breath. "Here goes everythin..'' She whispered and stepped inside.
