Description Barylambda is a large plant eating pony-sized mammal that lived in North America during the Palaeocene epoch. Diet-wise and appearance-wise, it had similar features and traits of tapirs and bears, and it fed on soft vegetation and foliage. They also stand up to reach high vegetation and can also use their size as their salvation from predators. It was quite a successful mammal for an early pantodont, until another large mammal took its place: the coryphodon.

Well, since he was a large mammal, as well as large modern day mammals like horses and oxen, they must have muscle definition, and it was seen in one illustration I found on Wikipedia, but most illustrations have longer fur.
