What a tight piece. I think my favourite things in this picture are the eye's, the crumbling rock (very realistic), and the quality of the fur. It's such a pleasing piece, it even draws your eye all around it.

This is the most beautiful artwork I have seen today! o_o The runes are of excellent design (I find them rather striking ^^)
This spirit has such a beautiful design ^^ Her face is gorgeous, especially with those big almond-shaped eyes 
Now for the background! You did an excellent job. It really does look like the moon is shattering into a thousand pieces. I'm always having difficulty placing a background around a character, but you do it really well.
You truly are an inspiration - you make me want to draw fantasy furries all over again

hey lisa, since you're thinking of going back to drawing fantasy furs, wanna start a series or something?
a theme, like moon-related. we could both draw stuff according to that theme.
think of legends....wolves howling at the moon, oriental legends of the moon goddess, tales of the bunny that lived on the moon (forgot what that one was called), um...stuff like that.
the moon isn't pretty if you look at it closely....with all those scars and craters, but when it glows by the sun's light, and especially in a nice dark blue sky, it just comes alive. reflected on the stretch of crystal clear ocean, with tiny sparkles at every little ripple, like a shimmering diamond road to heaven. ^^,
use your imagination....use these things and photos of sunsets and sunrises, especially ocean shots....you'll be surprised what you'll come up with. those are my inspirations. beauty and nature

the way the eye was made is kinda how i used to do all anthro eyes a few years ago. it's coming back! aeeiii...*runs*
have you seen the movie The Time Machine? in one part, they show an awesome moon slowly breaking into pieces! i was thinking of that when i started drawing the moon here.
im trying to get that movie again so i can see how they do it..though can't find screenshots of that part anywhere on the net

thanks, but i know you can do stuff like this too! i avoided any realistic stuff for years and years.....was sure that i can't do it cuz once i tried once in a while and it looked horrible.
now i do it even if i fail the first 20 times.
