Description A photograph I took of my father and son in 1968. Camera was a Bronica 2 1/4 x 2 1/4 with an 80 mm Nikor lens. I have never displayed this photograph before now but it's a personal favorite of mine.

Because I couldn't find the negative, I scanned the only print I have - 3 1/2" x 3 1/2".

The scan was on my Epson Perfection 2450 Photo.

No tricks; a straight image cropped to size.

Tom, what a wonderful reminder of what's really important! Sure is a special picture of your dad and Tommy -- and for me to have seen it on Fathers Day, guess it's Divine intervention.

Great age contrast, Tom. Then again, your dad looks as young as the baby in some subtle way.

And Hello from another Wisconsonian!

Nice to hear from another person from Wisconsin! Go Packers. (Oh-oh- I'm going to get hate mail)

Thanks for commenting on my photo "Dreams" . I just sent a response to a commenter on my "Marcy and Ross". You might find it interesting. The pic includes my dad (shown here) 31 years later with my mother only 21 at the time.

Thanks a lot. It means a lot to hear your comments because this photo is very personal to me. I'm suprised I haven't gotten more interest, I think it's a pretty decent photograph.

It was good to put it up.

Wow, despite the age of the picture, it doesn't look a day old besides the glasses on your father.
Really great shot, young and old go great together expecially in pictures, it's a great balance. Lovely title and photo.

Thanks krazi for your sweet comments. I am especially glad you liked the title because I struggled with a name for a long time. I had some fancy, schmancy titles but this just seemed to me to be right.

Thanks for watching my work.

As always you are very welcome! The title fits perfectly actually, because if you don't look at it, you seem lost at what the could be looking at in the sky, it fills the empty space in the viewers mind.

Oh, and I did as you asked! Hope it helped.

Thanks so much for the nice comments and for the "Fav". It was just a fortunate situations where the pose just happened and I was lucky to have been there.

Took a look at your gallery, nice stuff! Especially like "Still Day Beneath The SunII". Nice choice of crop.

Thanks again.
