PS: can I ask what colour(s) you're putting in the base skin tone to give it the cool colours feeling? blue? green?

Thank you for the comments! In answer to your question: Wat colours I used excactly I can't remember. For skintones I use many different colours. I also make use of transparant layers where I put opaque colours in so they mix too. In the end yhe proces becomes quite complex.

It's been way too long since I checked your stuff, but my message center is bursting - I might have too many people on the watch list. Anyway, this is a beautiful work. Borders between comical and surreal. Come to think of it, the artist that it reminds me most of is Hieronymous Bosch, not in an exact resemblance, but there's some similar quality of absurdity. Cool
