More nge fanart!!! (sorry not sorry).I spent so much time on Asuka's hair and I still have so much trouble with anatomy T_T I like how the colors turned out tho!
Last week was a pretty awful for me. T_T My pet dove flew out a window, I got rejected from a job I really REALLY wanted, I bombed a tax exam, sobbed really hard.... The point is: Can you imagine what it was like painting this thing with the whole "All's right with the world" motto plastered on the wall.
Hehe, I know my problems may not be that huge but lately I've been feeling really sorry for myself. I still feel like no matter how much further I keep going career wise it's only pushing me further away from what I truly want to do.... ART. The struggle to find a job, trying to support yourself, continuing education.... Frankly I don't even know how I ended up doing accounting as a major, but my graduation is in a few weeks and I'm pretty upset. I think my biggest fear is having to give up art because I will never have time for it. I'm not as good as I wan't to be and I can't catch up when my priorities always lie in making good grades and doing things other people tell me. I feel so cornered and sad and I don't know what to do but I'm not lying when I say these things keep me up at night. However stupid people say it is I truly regret never getting the chance to go to an art school or ever taking classes in art. *sighsss* Things always work out right? I'm not sure why I decided to spill this on here (probably because nge makes me feel angsty).

Maybe this is just me, but I would never give up something I love to do. If your career takes you elsewhere, please don't forget about your art! I make a habit of collecting my supplies second-hand, when possible, and you would be shocked how many people I've seen quit art because of a job, or change in life direction. It makes me sad, really. I hate to see it...
I wouldn't stress about your career. How many people have the same job their whole life? Just don't give up!

T_T I guess feeling stuck and trapped in a career you don't particularly care for is just part of life, it's not a good excuse to give up on doing art if that's what you really want to do. The end is open to interpretation but I do truly believe that learning to be part of a world that isn't always kind to you is part of the moral. XD thank you for the kind words and the encouragement! I'm really thankful! T_T

I'm happy to hear I was of some help! Even if you grow tired of art one day, don't give it up until then. Your art is, quite honestly, beautifully done, and I think it would be a shame to not be able to see it continue to improve.

First the Draw:
Is complicated even to explain, look at this color, this soft shadow, is everything so perfect. This is surelly one of your best draws. You complain about yout anatomy, but It is so good that I can't find a mistake.

Well, reading this I notice that lot of people suffer from something similar. To find a job or to be happy with their art quality.
I like to know about your art problems because I hate my ugly, bad loved and broken art, and see someone super better than me having trouble shows that even the best fell some pain, so why don't I have to suffer either?
And yeah, do not have time for what you love is terrible.
I can't help you, but please don't stop. You are my inspiration.

Wahh so Sorry for the late reply, I was convinced that I answered this! T_T Thank you so much for the kind words honestly you always make me feel better. The hardest thing about art is just trying to balance it when you're supposed to be completely dedicated to another job. It's just discouraging T_T I guess the important thing is that you just never stop drawing, it's cliche but it's the truth. Thank you for the kind words again and also don't worry about your English it's great!

I fear this too. I'm only just starting college, and although I've been choosing to spend a lot of time on art, I also have a lot of homework I have to do, or should be doing instead. I usually dream of a day where I have a steady job and can just come home after work and work on art (because I want a job that lets me leave my work at work, or barely bring any home).

Wahh! I'm so sorry for the late reply dears! But honestly, thank you so much. It makes me content to know that there are people out there who struggle with the same thing I do (I just can never tell since none of my real life friends like drawing as much as I do). School is school, and education is something that I'm very grateful for but the truth of it is that It is also extremely difficult to pursue art while getting an education in a completely unrelated field. I have seen it done, but for me it simply has never worked out the way I wished it to be. Improvement is so much slower and there is just never enough time. Lol I think we're quite similar in the sense that If we ever do end up finding a job in an unrelated field, at least let it give us enough opportunity to do lots of art on the side! XD
