In other news....I went on a diet....LMAO *wipes tear* guys I've been working on this for the past 2 weeks on and off, probably the most detailed painting I've ever done IN MY LIFE. These are my catboy OC's Seiji (Siamese) and Ajax (odd-eyed cutie on the left) , those of you who've seen my twitter/tumblr already know about them.
Anyways about this pic...I've wanted to do a food pic for the longest time. I started working on this MONTHS ago, I let it rot in my folders for a long time before I tried again and redrew the whole thing for a second AND THIRD TIME. I had suchHH SUCH a hard time arranging the food around (I'm not sure what half this food is keke especially the things that look like fried mice in the upper right corner AHAHA). In the end painting this was exhausting but I really enjoyed it. I'm not sure weather or not the expressions work but that's just something I need to practice more. And finally, YES OF COURSE I HAD TO ADD THE ANIME SPARKLES!!
*wheeze* I'm so done with this. I really want to hear what you guys have to say about it (are the sparkles distracting, the faces weird, the food distracting) Even if you think it's crap I'd like to know.
I'll be posting a coloring process/tutorial thing of this very soon as well!!! Many thanks to all my watchers like always!! <3

HNNGG thank you so much dearr!! T_T OMG PAINting I stress the PAIN in it! From what I've seen most people go about it 2 ways. 1. the black/white values method and later add color (which is impossible I have tried I and never fully succeeded b/c I have issues lol) and 2. the very direct slap on color method and render until it looks good...HNNNGG some of the really good artists can just block in shapes without lineart (b/c they are Gods) XD I'm not really that great at explaining but I do have a link to a friend of mine's list of tutorials --> maddox-rider.tumblr.com/post/1…
The kazeki tutorial is a good example of the b/w method and sakimichan tutorials are really useful for the regular color method^^ In the end I think it just comes down to preference. I hope this helps u dearr!! (p.s also keep in mind that most of these artist work in PS, idk if it's relevant but I use sai for most things and the b/w method is difficult to achieve if that's what you're going for ^^)

and I don't think it's necessarily the program but the artist, because Grypwolf paints in SAI and its just sidfhsdhfj amazing lol

I also like all the food, especially the fact almost everything looks like something a cat might like.
Fish, and fish shapes and a couple of mouse shapes. Of course you can't miss all the cat faces.

I ussualy draw for 8~9 nonstop. BUT You draw for MONTHS !!! \o / I really apreciate your effort !! You finish to theach me a lesson ! I need draw more and more and more until my hands fall !!!
And about the draw, "Holy fuck**** ***** Lots of curse words to describe how good are this draw ! XD
the shadowns, simple background, this food !!! And the two characters. Really good.

YHUS YHUS!!! (I know what you mean about the 8-9hr draw days, they're exhausting but so worth it at the end of the day!!) I'm such a slow learner when it comes to drawing so I have to put in so much extra time T_T D'awww I'm really glad my advice was helpful!! ^^
