MERRY CHRISTMAS Sapphireluna!!This is what's known as "Tonko has no idea how to plan out colour balance" or "blue overload". (Or alternatively "Tonko's background skills could do with ongoing practice!")
BUT ANYWAY.
This is Sapphireluna's PMD Team Azure:
They have temporarily traded in their usual accessories for some possibly homemade costumes of a particular (and very blue) legendary bird).
As a result of this image, I am much less scared of colouring on the computer than I used to be!
Pencil and paper for the outlines, then scanned and coloured with Sai.
And Sapphireluna made this one for me, which is GORGEOUS. She's inspiring me to improve!!

Yeah I'm still learning how to use the art program I have. It gets a bit easier every time though. I'll need to start paying closer attention to peoples' techniques than I used to.

i love the blue! and sometimes a lot of one color works in a picture. and it does in this one

Thank you!! I drew the lineart and thought "hey, not bad" and then I got to the colouring and was like "...oops." But I'm glad it looks okay (I was worried about the background but I think it actually helped!)
