Before he voiced the titular character on Batman The Brave & The Bold, Diedrich Bader was in the live action comedy Office Space, directed by Beavis and Butt-Head creator Mike Judge. Bader played Lawrence, next door neighbor of the film's protagonist Peter Gibbons. Lawrence is one of many hilarious characters in the film, one of those gags being to "check out channel 9, it's the breast exam!" Since Diedrich Bader also voices Batman, I thought it would be hilarious if Batman said Lawrence's many quotes. Normally whenever I draw Batman, he's always wearing gray and black, but since this is a lighthearted spoof, having the mask, cape, and gloves be blue made sense.
