The clouds are rendered beautifully. The planet seems reflective almost like a marble. I find this to be a wonderful piece for different reasons, but please keep in mind that I am not a fractal art expert, but a common art appreciator in giving this critique.
As I stated before, the clouds are my favorite part. The whispiness makes them authentic to me.
Most fractal art pieces I see are designs ranging from simple to intricate, but remain just that, conceptual, amorphous designs. I enjoy this piece because it is a composition of something identifiable, something I rarely see in this category.
Lastly, I like the shadow used where the left side of Earth is illuminated and the right is turned away from the sunlight. I didn't notice it right away, but I find that great because it isn't the focal point in the first place.
I can't think of anything negative to say about this piece although I usually try to state one piece of constructive criticism in my critiques... Good work here.
