Description

You can tell that I designed Squonch and Cronch as a pair! Although they ended up being posted separately, they were designed to be foils for eachother. I really just wanted to design some grody, unsettling babies.

! CYPHERUS GREM !

This is a grem that died of starvation, and upon revival as a cypherus, still retained the same burning hunger that they had with them at the end of their life. They're capable of and strongly compelled to eat anything appealing to them that they can get their hands on, leading them to wreak havoc at times on areas that they've chosen to feed within. Dangerous, with an extremely strong bite and a determined attitude, this grem can consider most things to be on the menu, but have a definite preference for plants or animals compared to raw materials. Since losing their sight, they sense the world mainly through smell and hearing (and strong intuition), but they also have the tendency to nibble on new objects just to test.

Tidbits:
- It's possible for this grem to form interpersonal attachments/relationships, but it may be VERY difficult, as their compulsion to eat far outweighs social graces. Anyone in their life for any period of time would need to be prepared for this.
- Much of the energy from what they consume is stored in the bloated tail that they drag behind them. If it becomes a hindrance to them, or if especially startled, they can shed this tail like a lizard and grow a new one, but as their primary fat storage, they become sluggish without it.

Note- Their tail doesn't have to be drawn as big as this! Since it can shed and regrow, and it corresponds to their intake, it could be much smaller!
