Subject Zero ( Neil Sinclair ) despite his appearance is a DC comics character which appeared just in 3 issues during the Flashpoint timeline: Project Superman 1-3.

Lieutenant Neil Sinclair was a soldier selected by General Sam Lane to be the first subject in a secret government project he was starting. Lane's objective was to create a super soldier for the American government that could combat super powered enemies during for war. They grafted extraterrestrial DNA to Sinclair's own DNA as a result it transformed him into Subject Zero which gave him an entire arsenal of powers. Sinclair quickly began to develop superpowers above and beyond what was originally expected but as a result of his powers growing more rapidly Neil Sinclair began to lose control and his handlers at who experimented on him in a lab for years had a harder time keeping him under control...untill stuff happened, of course.

Subject Zero is a personal favourite of mine, he is an incredibly powerful Superman foe that looks like a militarized sayan....too bad that DC hasn't used him anymore :/
