Just to add in a bit, criticism is meant to be helpful and constructive. I understand your point on the rocks but there was no need to add in that your friend does a better Toph. Its discouraging and uncalled for. Its just a slap to the face. Cosplaying isn't about being 100% like the character or looking more the part. If that was the case many, many people wouldn't fit cosplays. Its about the work put into assembling the costume and above all enjoying yourself. Criticism may be opinion but as I said, criticism isn't about pointing out who you thought did it better. That wasn't asked for.
