I would like to take this opportunity to remind everyone of the importance of a well devised zombie escape plan. Preparing for any possible emergency is important and you donβt want to be left with your brains exposed come the zombie apocalypse. You have been warned.Anyway, this was done for a typography project in which we were asked to create letterforms out of something that would enhance the meaning to the word we were creating...so I went with zombies...
Done by sticking one hand in a bag of dirt and taking pictures with the other. Photoshopped all the letters together and enhanced the deadness a bit, but for the most part it was all makeup; baby powder + lotion + dirt makes some great homemade zombie makeup, if anyone wants to know...

i didn't actually make all the letters (not sure if I could figure out a way to do them all) but how awesome would it be if I did turn it into a proper typeface? lol it would be a lot of work but very much worth it in the end methinks... I think i'll add the project to my list of things I want to do if I ever get some free time

It'd be a brilliant typeface! An incredible amount of work, though, I agree. Still, just the picture and concept are awesome. 8D
