To be real: This isn't actually an OC....!>.>....It is just my own personal idea of how Mina Murray Harker had/would look like!^^
As you probably know, she is a fictional character in Bram Stoker's ´Dracula`. She is the woman, who the vampire Count Dracula falls in love with. Sadly Dracula gets killed in his try to turn her into a vampire.... You all know the story!^^
Since I'm an addicted Hellsing-fan, I've often heard her appear in the Hellsing-story.... But I don't know how she looked like, so I thought it would be fun to try to request it to myself. The toughest thing to deal with, was probably her skintone and her hairstyle.... -.-
I don't think the effects turned out as I wanted, but this was just as far as I could get....
I got inspired from the ending of Chrno Crusade vol. 5 where in the end of the book, you can see a preview of vol. 6 with Mary Magdalene. If you still don't know what I'm talking about then look at this: [link]
So sadly, the pose does not belong to me or either does the text or the character!!!!! only the design is mine....
I'll may start to make some more drawings of her, since it was quite fun to draw her....^^

While I do like the picture, I must correct you.
In the original novel, Dracula does not love Mina. He turns her to hurt Jonathan (her husband)

Bless you for knowing that! It's strange that in today's society, Dracula is the personification of seduction. Strip away the psychological analysis & bizarre sexual imaginations of Freud, & you have a story about two lovers (Jonathan and Mina) who combine their intelligence & love to overcome evil.

And she does somewhat appear in Hellsing, but as a corpse that the bad guys were using to help make their own vampires (since Dracula bit her, she has some of his DNA). Otherwise you never see her in full.

In the original book she never fell in love with Dracula.
That piece of fiction was added into the movie which made it a flop

Actually, you're half right: true, there was no romance in the source material, but the movie that Francis Ford Coppola did was a successful adaptation. In fact, it's still consider a cult classic for its stylistic undertones as a "gothic romance" story, rather than a horror story. NOT just my opinion...

Actually, in the original story, Dracula doesn't fall for her. He bites her to make her husband, Jonathan, and the others angry. She hated him just as much, if not more, than the other characters in the book.

I've wondered what Mina really looked like as well... I do not think that the book was too descriptive on character design itself... Hm... Still! You've made a lovely looking Mina!

I hvert fald så på en måde elsker jeg hende fordi hun er så mystisk og for at historien ikke ville have været det samme hvis ikke hun havde været med!O__o ^^

Ja os det, men i historien både film og bog, syns jeg hun virker. . .Tankeløs og som om han egentli ikk betyder meget for hende. . .det bare min følelse, men jeg er sikker på at hun skulle have været anderledes, men det synd at man får det indtryk a hende. . .
Men hun skal helt klart være i historien for som du siger, ville det ikk være det samme. . .
