Description My Jorogumo character (aptly named, Jorogumo :V), drider style.

Remind me to never, ever, ever draw a drider again. Gods. On top of being made of goddamn impossible physics, the only good reference for them is rule 34.

Anyway. Her spiderbutt's based off of Nephila clavata (colloquial name: jorogumo :V) which is a particularly gorgeous variety of garden spider- yes, they really do have magenta splotches. I love garden spiders, and orb-weavers in general, and their stripey-butt, parachuter baby goodness.

Me and my sharpies had a ton of fun coloring this, haha.

Haha, no worries! Glad you liked it, and hope you have fun with your oc! The more insect kingdom characters out there the better, IMO.

I'm currently dating a Jorogumo named Machika Jones. She has 7 evil exes. Here's who I defeated so far:
Michael Yama: A male of my girlfriend's species. Has a taste for female super-humans (he's a dimension traveler) & gains the power of those he eats. Can summon biomechanical "catgirl hipster chicks". When his HP was running low, he bit Alison Atalanta Alopex, a kitsune who I'm friends with. This not only caused a life point renewal in Michael, but caused Ali to go through a biological process that not only healed her wound, but changed her voice & physical appearance. I defeated Michael anyway. He exploded into coins.
Lawrence Lariakis: A male gorgon who happens to be a skateboarder turned movie star. After defeating his stunt doubles, I bad-mouthed his skateboarding skills. He did a dangerously long rail grind (cumulative speed: too fast to live) & exploded into coins at the bottom. I got a Mithril skateboard as a result.
I got a call from my ex-girlfriend Vivi (real name Victoria Veronica Vulpes), another kitsune. She broke my heart by not staying in touch after we graduated middle school even though she promised. She wanted my guys to do an opening act for her band on their home planet. Said band, "Mad Boomer", consists of me (guitar & harmonica) Aello Abernakis (1 of the original harpies-she plays the drums. I gotta say, she's pretty good for someone whose arms are wings) & Apollon Abernakis (yes, the OLYMPIAN Apollon-turns out all the mythological casts are actually aliens-Bass & "Talent"). When we got to the planet Izamami, I spotted a save point after our opening act I used it. Then, I met Vivi's band, The Bash at Kami-head. The drummer, Tennessee Weir, is a ningyo with a bionic right arm. The bass player was, at this time, Ted Ilerakis (who was also Machika's 3rd evil ex & Vivi's boyfriend). He was a satyr with psychic powers-namely telekinesis & telepathy, plus awesome powers of deduction-as a result of vegan-ism. He threw me around (after Vivi found out he was cheating on her with Tennessee). As I was hiding from him, I put half-& half in 1 coffee & soy milk in the other. He couldn't read my mind (I have a hyperspace station in my mind), but he deduced the half-&-half. I used this against him by having him drink dairy without knowing it. The Gaian Vegan Police showed up & took away his vegan powers for multiple offences. I got a 1-up in addition to coins.
Brittany "Brit" Bariakis: A ninja harpy. I touched her in the backs of her knees, than sliced her. She exploded into woodland creatures.
Kendrick & Kareem Katagana:A pair of okami. I fought their robots, than robot doubles of them, than I fought them in a mock battle of the bands. They had a literal wall of amps on their side. They summoned a Patagonian toothfish made of instrument-focused psychic energy, I summoned a colossal squid made of psychic energy. The squid won. I got a portable checkpoint & coins.
Machika left on a wilderness sabbatical for a few months afterwards. I got a call saying "This is Garrison. When would it be convenient for you to die?"

You know that comic Scott Pilgrim? I'm basically going through a supernatural version of that.

...Yeah, I got that, but I don't get why you felt the need to post an in-depth description as a comment on a completely unrelated picture.

"only good reference for them is rule 34." OH GOD. No, you have to be able to do better... there must be ways.

Well, to combat the overabundance of rule 34, I've begun to take it upon myself to draw a decent number of insect anthro girls that *aren't* porn. If that helps.

I think it does. You're stopping the exploitation of furries, one deviation at a time. And uhh, exoskeletonies(seriously, do Dryder like creatures have a fan subsection?(I hope not)).

I like this drawing, though ^^ I generally like most of your stuff because of how thoughtful it is.

Everything has a fan subsection. ._.' That's what rule 34 does.

Heh, thank you. :3

Looks awesome. And the awkward drider physics seem to fit her character quite well... just that extra dimension of spooky, I guess.
