**Special Containment Procedures:** Due to SCP-052's sentient nature and anomalous abilities, containment efforts are focused on monitoring and limiting public exposure. The 59th St. A/B/C/D Station remains closed to the public from 11 p.m. to 1 a.m. on Saturdays and Sundays under the guise of "track maintenance." During these hours, Mobile Task Force Gamma-6 personnel are stationed at the station to prevent accidental access and to intercept anyone exiting SCP-052. **Description:** SCP-052 is a sentient New York City subway train, designated as a type R4, with the ability to traverse time and space at will. Despite official records indicating its decommissioning in 1975, SCP-052 manifests on the Uptown A/D track at the 59th St. and 8th Avenue station at 11:57 p.m. every Saturday. The train, labeled as an “A” train and in pristine condition, remains visible for approximately five minutes, allowing boarding and disembarking of passengers, before vanishing.

SCP-052 has constructed its own railyard within the subway station premises using its wheels as manipulative appendages and tools. It possesses the capability to manifest at any desired time, move autonomously across all subway tracks and lines, and appear/disappear instantaneously.

The majority of individuals boarding SCP-052 are not recovered, reporting boarding from various time periods spanning from 1976 to distant future dates, such as 2204. Subjects exiting SCP-052 retain no memory of their time aboard.

**Addendum:** Efforts to understand SCP-052's activities beyond its visible appearances have been inconclusive. Initial tests involving Foundation personnel have resulted in unpredictable outcomes, including fatalities and [REDACTED] events, prompting a cessation of further human testing.

Passenger 052-6: █████ ████████ claims to be a Level 4 Supervisor from the “SCP Federation” who entered the train in December 2124. Subject had been administered a Class A-Prime amnestic prior to boarding, in a successful attempt to avoid the fate of Passengers 052-4 and 052-5. Recovered Feb. 6, 2010. As he will never be released from Foundation custody, O5 Command has approved sharing otherwise classified information about other artifacts in our possession, in hopes of gaining new methods of containment, and becoming aware of future security breaches. Agent ████████ has been cooperative, and claims: That it is good we do not know how to open SCP-699 . Subject turned visibly pale and refused to discuss this item further.
