[ Dragon Eater ]

A species formed of a diamond core, able to create a spark, but unable to feed a flame.
They prey on dragonlings, and transform prey's natural composition in order to react with their core, and maintain their fire lit.
They use their fire in dazzling threat displays, to ward off natural predators, as they themselves often fall victim to
adult dragons, who rely on their spark core to create fire for themselves.
They are technically blind, and rely primarily on feelers extending outwards to find their victims.
