Seriously though, I love both Halo and Metroid equally. Seriously, you drew Mister Chief in this pic, meaning you know a bit more about Halo, than the average person who thinks the game is over rated.

I'm not hating because I am a fan of a metroid and halo. I honestly don't see many developmental differences between Samus And Spartan 117. Both are relatively silent characters, =_= I thought they were roughly equals in terms of design and development.

as someone who plays BOTH games quite lovingly and is a fanboy of both, i can tell you that he really doesn't. the story behind halo is deeper.. but Master Chiefs story line its self isn't all that complex as the MCs, and like i said, i love my Spartans

There's always been the theory of how the MARATHON series runs with the Halo series, and I'm one of those inclined to believe that the Bungie folks were lying through their teeth about it not connecting together.
Samus, as I remember, was started as a Side-scroller, which, like Sonic the Hedgehog, gained a storyline and then went from there, and i played the original Sonic and I wish I had been able to be a more avid Samus-gamer, sadly, not all that many nintendo consoles in my family...
If you could link me to the storyline, official, as to how Samus' storyline works out, I'd probably be more inclined to swing to your way of thinking.

now like i said. Samus her self has a more complex story line and character casting. the actual universe of halo though i feel has more flesh to it.. but then again John wasn't meant to be a strong character type as more of a seldom talking one liner badass that we could put our selves into ..with some humor and interaction with cortona
