One of the assignments fror my graphic design class was to make a poster for the upcoming student art show, so this was mine. Behold my faux-vectoring skills! XD I'm too stupid to know how to use Illustrator, so this was done completly with the polygonal lasso tool.Can you guess who the person is based off of? :3 The whole class thought it was a girl, which makes me giggle.
You can't tell, but the background is actually done with screentone dots. It's just that this image is a helluva lot smaller than the print-sized one XD;;

I love this though! You go girl with your faux vector skills! I hate using illustrator but I love the smoooothness at the same time. Awesome work on the eyes and hair though! I really love the use of colours. Do you know if this is going to be used as an actual ad?

He hasn't chosen the winning design, but I don't think it's gonna be mine :< Then agian, you never know. Last project, he ended up choosing the worst one of the class. Seriously, it was a bad idea and poor executed. I'm not trying to be catty or anything, but there were a lot of amazing designs, and I thought for sure this one guys poster would have been chosen.

I know, I always hate that about classes, choosing which one is best. The only thing I love is the constructive criticism but some people were just nasty about it sometimes or was like "Errrrr? D:"

The constructive crit. in this class is actually pretty good. I like the fact that the teacher is kind of an ass, because he doesn't sugar coat anything. If you miss the due date, it's an automatic F. If you can't explain your idea, you get a lower grade. If your execution is lacking, he'll tell you it looks like a middleschooler did it XD;; *loves* Although, he honestly has said that he has loved all of my projects, so that's awesome.
I always feel like to much of a pansy to give constructive crit D: Even if someone's project looks awful, I just point out what I like about it. This one guy made a poster, nice idea and all, but I couldn't read the text. And I felt horrid for telling him so. x_X

Thats so awesome. XD I'd probably do shit in that class since all my stuff was done in five minutes and normally had no concept..at least for that one class we had.
I just hated whenever we had 'anime' stuff and they'd start asking the supposed 'OMG ANIME ARTISTS' to give comments... O_o;; and they'd be like "Yeah,its..uh..cool"

I just hated that woman. She had no business whatsoever teaching that class. She didn't even know what she was doing, and she didn't give two shits about you if your artwork did not involve photography of naked woman.

XD I should have just made porn then, cause she loved me. seriously though, she was so freaky but I at least had some good inspiration from that class and fun conversations.
