hi my name is Toten and my gallery is devoid of actual backgrounds and environments because I'm a characterfag. Have a wonky casino boat full of white-haired swindlers.Stuff from my art book. It's where Roma's family lives. The Descartes family never really lived in Voncaxia since they live on a giant floating casino of silent rage, they latched onto the harbours of the country after the Queen granted them citizenship. The Descartes family come from a long line of criminals and famous gamblers. They also use skulls to whoop everyone's ass. Now their living quarters serves as the Las Vegas of Census. The casino patrons are escorted by family summons called Descartiers.
The ship is guarded by Rosencrat battleships, mainly the SS Noctura, La Notte, and La Luna. After the fall of Voncaxia, the Descartes followed the Rosencrats to Census since they were like bffs forever. The Descartes despise the Scarpelli family who are allies with the Mahenzeratis because the orange bitches like to rob them on the sea.
The mast head of the ship is made in the image of the family's current patriarch so it always changes.
This is Roma, she uses her blank gaze 24/7 and she's Amon's wife. He doesn't deserve her company because he's such a raging old woman.

Huge ship is huge...
For some reason makes me think of the George Bush class aircraft carriers the US has planned. They can't find a dock big enough to build it in though.

Fancy, looks like a titanic from hell who is on its way into that imaginary harbor i see there. Like someone set up a camera to film the crash by being in the way and suddenly a skeleton man jumps up in the corner saying something like "I'M ON TV!"
Way beyond anything i would be able to do. It's always like that. I paint something and ask my mom. "Oh yes, that is one very beautiful picture.. now let's just burn this little thing before your fathers eyes start to bleed. Why yes, thank you."

Painting the edges of the water and still trying to make it look realistic is a real pain.

Duude, pixel art is so not my forte.. I'm clueless at it, sorry. I can only render things in Photoshop and Painter so you're like 84505848 levels above me when it comes to pixel art. XD

Well that worldmap there was mainly painted by using MSPaint and a little Paint Shop Pro.
I made a typo before though, edges of the island. Not water. XD
That's probably the hardest thing about it. Edges of the island, where water meets land. The water took me about a week to make though.
Anyway, enough going off topic.
