Here is my second Hawke, Jaden! (I consider Magdalene my primary Hawke - more of her later!<3)
I am NOT usually into making my male characters gay. I just...don't. But I hate Isabella, and as much as I FREAKING ADORE MERRILL!!! - I just don't like the dynamic of the Friendmance or Rivalmance in her case. (Friendmance = befriending her and being okay with her self-abuse) (Rivalmance = nagging and fighting with someone in a relationship that is making neither of you happy.
) (BTW: NOT dissing Merrill lovers here. <3 I LOVE that you love her - so do I!<3<3<3) Besides, she's so terribly cute with Carver. :3

Actually, I'm also working on a f!Hawke artdump for a buddy of mine. I actually like that pairing a lot, but as I stated above, I just wanted a male Hawke, and I wanted a Fenris romance, so I opted for...a compromise!

Yeah, my headcannon is that Jaden is the typical "Thief with the heart of gold," who pretends to only look out for personal interests and excitement, when really there are a few things that he truly cares about!
Carver's death only made him care MORE about mages, because he feels like it's his responsibility to protect his little sister now.
And that didn't sit well with Fenris at first.
