For , a super belated b-day present!!
From a very old and VERY short-lived Dragon Age RP group we formed with some friends last summer!
GAZE IN AMAZEMENT AS YOU REALIZE...THAT...um...that girl...isn't...a girl.
Also...He's imortal...and attracts fireflies?
Yeah, I don't get it either, but what a cutie!
Also, I used my Hawke, Magdalene (though we changed a few things and switched her last name to Sparrow) as my RP character, so naturally she was from Lothering, which was where Sten was imprisoned! They used to play "I-Spy" together!
(I can't believe I'm the only one I've met with a Sten headcannon like that??)
So I guess she wound up being their buddy!

We were thinking the same thing.
I mean, the Qun aren't actually xenophobic about other races, just other cultures, but that's more than enough to cause frustration.
And I can't really imagine playing as an active member in the Qun.
So I would think a romance/playercharacter would have to be a tal'vishoth.

My headcannon for my Amell is that before she was dragged off o the circle of Magi, she was from the Anderfells, and since there is very little established lore surrounding the Anderfells, I have a lot of fun coming up with culture surrounding the village she is from. It's a place [I made up] called Weigenstien, located in an isolated portion of the mountains, and the people there are beadmakers and hunters, largely.
It's a fascinating place. I really love culture.
