Description It probably took me about 30mins to 1hr to scan the stupid thing right. I will tell you my scanner is a piece of crap, you'd think that it would be the perfect scanner in the world for the price I gave for it. Anyways, enough of the ranting, here it is, finally finished. I started this one before my Colin Farrell one but put it aside and than I decided to pick it back up again. Hope you all like it .

Psssttt... Could someone be an awesome pal and help me or recommend me a good HQ picture of Davy Jones that I could possibly color? He is my other favorite character of POTC! Thankies!

In the age where traditional mediums are losing their hold on artists, I have to say this is a stunning reminder of what great skill, patience, and imagination can create. In ways this picture exceeds that of all art produced through digital means, largely because mistakes/decisions matter more and there is no turning back once something is placed on the paper. I really like this. Ten stars!

Thank you! I tried to create the same colors as the photo. But unfortunately I haven't be able to create anything this good after wards with prismacolor pencils .

For all the drawings of Jack Sparrow everywhere, its nice to see one thats a little different. I havent seen one drawn the way you have done it... I like yours the best. Its so soft and smooth - you're quite good at blending those prismacolors. I really dig your background as well. Awesome pic!

Thank you very much . To get them smooth, I use a colorless blender made by sandford prismacolor company . It really helps out smoothing things together instead of leaving lines choppy .

Get out.... no seriously, go, get out lol. It looks absolutely stunning. What size pack of prismacolours do you have? The blending is great, and those sexy details on his bandana make me want to..... ohh err, I'd better stop there. Gotta keep it G lol. But seriously, this does look fantastic. Your hard work and time have really paid off. I want to get round to doing a colour portrait sometime, but i'm worried that it might turn out crap (I hate sucking at things lol) and I also only have a 24 (i think) pack of prismas.

I have a 120 pack. A lot of the colors I used aren't in a regular 48 or 24 pack (expect for like cream, peach, light peach, yellow orche and etc).

*jealous* They don't sell them here, so I was lucky to pick up my 24pack while I was in the States. I didn't have enough money left over to get anything bigger as I also had to get some Bristol smooth, since they don't sell that here either.

Yep, you're right, it's a bandana . Give it time Maria, you'll be good at it in no time, this is only my second color one (technically it is my first since I started it before the Colin one ) . I need to find another picture to color, dunno wither to do flowers or my dear Davy Jones , Oh how hard he'd be, a definant challenge.

yeah maybe you're right, i've just begun with the colors. flowers sounds great but Davy Jones would definelty be a challenge, i'd love to see that. i'll try to find some hq pics for you
