Your sketchbook/journal looks like one of those ones that are a work of art in themselves. I'm jealous.
That being said, I have a nerd question for you: what kind (brand) of sketchbook is that? (need a new one that doesn't fall apart halfway through)

the brand is called quattro, I use the 8x8 with grid but they have all sorts of different sizes and line rules, but it isnt drawing paper, its smooth so its purpose is academic paper, if you draw alot using pens and markers its fine, but if you use pencils and other dry mediums more I'd suggest getting an actual sketch book with paper that has more of a bite...
