Description 's vision of an American muscle car of the 21 century (Something like the Pontiac Solstice perhaps?)

Well I personally loved his design so I decided to do my won version of it with markers.

Now I know, and realize that some of the details are wrong, such as tires and pillars etc. the proportions are the heardest part. But I am drawing every single day to improve

Niiice, I may just save this for use as a reference later on if I can get any amount of production from my garage. I love the design.

Sure thing! I'm not gonna try to steal anyone's designs, but seeing as I don't have enough space for single unit production yet I saw no reason to bother you at the moment. XD

its cool, what exactly are you aiming for. a car factory?

No, not in the least. I work as a mechanic outta my back yard, customization, rebuilds, all that good stuff. I just want to be able to build the occasional unique vehicle. (I've got plans for a couple of fan-based vehicles from some video games, but I've got to run it by Criterion, Sega, etc.) So nothing big, just kinda like one of the garages where Hollywood gets their unique vehicles from.

coincidentally, the LP Outlaw was actually inspired in some part to a Burnout Revenge car, one of the cars i used the most and tweaked some stuff. it was the Super Coupe if i recall.

XD That's cool. Some of the best artistic inspiration comes from video games and movies.

yes, and I gotta say, the Corvette ZR1 is a FUCKING BEAST ON THE ROAD!

Yep.

But I think, considering the possible year of this car [around 2020 or later?]...I think it can be lighter than 3,600 lbs, considering extensive use of carbon fiber, now much cheaper to produce...the same production technique that would later be used in your 2035 Nissan Z Roadster concept

I was going for 2015 for this outlaw concept...

and for my Nissan, I was expecting less than 1000kgs or so.....

Not a problem! New techniques in 2035 allow even lighter weight!!!

you did good with this one, man. its a beast. i might want to redo it someday, but with a larger trunk.

actually, the Outlaw's more of a Camaro ZL1/Mustang Shelby GT500/Challenger SRT-8 beater, but it could also be a Ferrari killer. ironically, the engine is the same LS-9 off a Corvette ZR-1.

toyonda In reply to Mister-Lou [2012-09-30 19:29:18 +0000 UTC]

Hmmm, the Outlaw kinda looks a lot smaller than the cars you mentioned... So that's why I thought it would be something similar to the Pontiac Solstice or a compact roadster with a length of no more than 4500 mm.

Anyways, I guess it's a smaller version with even more power as those amazing competitors?

yeah, its roughly the same size as a Accord coupe, really.
