okay, i'm back, somewhat. i know it's been awhile. but here's what i have been working on and off with, for the past 2 months. i can't say how many hours it took because i have no idea, i spread out the work too much to figure it out. but i am happy it's done, the hair was a bit horrifying, as it generally is for me. i could have worked a bit harder on the hair, but i don't think i could have mentally handled it... anyway, it's charlize theron, if you can't tell by the title.9x12 bristol vellum

nah. i think it would look cool with a few mods. maybe make her eyes a certain color, or just her lips red or something... i mean no disrespect to the work though. just ideas floatin around. you see, i have no artistic talent when it comes to non-computer made art. i work pretty much only with concepts and portray my ideas through PS creations.

Wow. It actually looks as if the light is really reflecting off the hair, lips and eyes. It has an almost liquid quality to it. Excellent stuff

Very very nice...your shading is very good. Even though the hair doen's have too much detail it still looks very real, and it lets the face get all the attention. Lovely

great piece of work...the eyes look flawless...simply beautiful...you've done a fine job with the hair as well
thought i must point out a couple of things i found odd....first...the nose looks flat...second...the lower lip looks somewhat odd...probably a bit too "cracky" (i can't find the right word)...
but overall a very good portrait of charlize

That is a gorgeous portrait. The shading and detail around the eyes and on the lips is stunning, and you should be really pleased with the hair, it looks soft and silky! Simply beautiful
