My last piece was done using mostly shapes, and was a much more vectory piece than the pieces I did in the eevee collab. I wanted to try to return more to the painted lined style with this piece, however found it incredibly hard after not doing that style for so long. As such did the line art on this one, as well as the highlights, as I have still yet to learn painttool SAI. What was fun about us both working on this piece however was working out how to do a nice flame effect, something neither of us had done before really. Tackling that and doing a convincing cartoon style fire in this piece was satisfying to say the least
So a big shout out to for her enormous input into this piece. Hopefully I can get back on my game and do better going forward.
