i have a question before i call one of these hotlines... i've never wanted to multiple times, fearing they know where i live and will come find me. what's it like talking to the people...? do they ask you questions... or what? i'm just sorta hesitant about calling them...

that they let you remain completely
anonymous. I'm pretty sure you just
talk to them. About whatever you want.

the only critique i can think of for these last too ((beaause everyone's already stolen the compliments...)) is that in the commentary for both say "don't BE suicidal/eating disordered" .. kinda as if to say you're choosing to "be" that way when it's really not that simple. and, i personally understand where you're coming from and believe i understnad what you meant; those words just sit a little funny. almost as if someone who is struggling with those should feel shameful or like a bad person for "being" somethign they shouldn't be. (again, i know that's not what you meant to say at all; i'm just letting you know that it may be filtered and interpreted incorrectly by those who need to hear it most. your message pieces are so so so powerful and i'd hate to see their helpfulness go to the wayside for a few mispoken words that left someone in an already fragile state to suddenly be turned off feeling they "are" something bad.

thanks- and I totally understand where you're coming from- I though it sounded funny, too, but, I wasn't sure what I could put otherwise. i thought "don't have an eating disorder/suicidal mind" sounded much, much worse. like, mind-controlling or something...

i understand where you're coming from and it does grab your attention -- unless you have one of those minds, then to those people youre trying to reach it gets interpretted as "i'm bad for having that kind of mind because apparently i shouldn't". to anyone else it's perfect; to those already afflicted, it might lose its effectiveness. and i know you really want to make a difference and i really wanted to make sure you could do that :aww;
