Four pages.Photomatons - documenting jackassery since 1926. Apparently, they didn't have curtains on them back then, and attendants would stand by and suggest poses for the subjects.
I should probably be fined for gratuitous use of photo booth, but I'll attempt to excuse myself on the basis that photographs are a running theme. Something about the fact that picture-taking was becoming a much less formal affair in the 1920s delights me. With the popularization of things like the photo booth and Brownie camera, private photography was no longer relegated to dour-faced portraiture and memento mori (one sort easily being confused for the other at a glance). Life seems suddenly more acutely present in picture-relics of that era.

I just love Wick's cheesy smile on the second photo of the second row. It definitely has to be my favorite. Followed by Mitzi trying on Wick's glasses and when she's just "whatever", pulling out her tongue like that. It's nice to see a little childish side of her once in a while.

I really think that your use of the photographs dovetails neatly with the mood you've always been setting. Rocky's in trouble, thankfully and Wick is thinking.
It's a wonderful ride down (well, someone else's memory lane) and my very first thought from the first four panels was "How can I talk buisness with this lump in my trousers"... Mitzi knows how to use everything she's got and it kind of breaks my heart to know that's probably what she's doing. A woman in her day and position had a very short list of options... yet how many times did love have better results than violence? Only in the end did manipulation feel the same.
Finally, everything in this page made me and the wife sit forward with our noses pressed against the screen. I can't wait for that second book to come out, but... darn, I guess I have to.
