it's a good one. I couldn't resist when it came on my ipod's playlist and I was walking about plotting ahead in my story - it just struck me that with the bends their relationship takes sometimes that that is EXACTLY what happens. Apparently it's difficult for people to tell who's driving once Scri has enough power to be more than just a voice and he becomes a full blown alter (mine are adept at pretending to be me around people who don't know I have D.I.D) and, as far as their personal relationship - Scri beats on Edgar and Edgar just looks away.

Haha I think it's actually super easy to tell when Scriabin's in control since their attitudes are hugely different - Scriabin's way more confident... what was it, I think Rue wrote a fic that was talking about Scriabin taking up so much more SPACE, which makes sense to me, haha. Also he's such a narcissist it's not like he'd try that hard to hide it. Rue wrote a fic along those lines too of Scri taking over Edgar's life and making a big mess of it, haha. His demeanor changes completely, it's probably very startling to see happen.
If you have DID I hope you're seeing a trained professional about it, that's something that needs to be treated very seriously.

Well, Sony can tell who's driving by the body language and the emotions being put off. Which has actually sparked a bizarre alter-version of the hospital fic, where half the time the staff asks her to go deal with Scri...scaredy-cats.
My D.I.D is pretty mild, despite the LARGE number of alters I have. I don't have any that do harm to me or anyone else, thankfully...I think the one I had that did when I was very, very young (like, 2 years old) got...re-absorbed...or it's possible Izzy killed that one, I don't know. She's very...protective of me. They also don't just jump out whenever they want to - they only snatch my mental keys, so to speak, when I'm having anxiety issues or when they ask and I let them ( I have a few who like to play video games...I dunno). I also never lose huge chunks of time when one takes over - whichever one is "driving", they all take great pains to remain co-conscious with me so that when I come back, I know exactly what went on. Hence why I say my case is mild, even though there's between 50-75 of them. I've never bothered to go see a professional about it, other than to be diagnosed with it, because they've never really been a serious issue in my case. My mum lived with it for the majority of her life (although hers was sparked by a very, VERY different trauma) and mine have always gone out of their way to be helpful on some level or another. They do at least make my life very interesting, what with some of the conversations I hear from in here everyday....right now most of them are fussing over me because I had 3 teeth pulled two days ago.

Haha I would not want to be around Scri in the hospital fic, he's so unpredictably violent. He's such a nightmare to deal with in that, and Edgar's not much better |D He may have killed his roommate even, although that was never super clear.

Hahaha, I have this awesome mental image of her walking over when he's hogging the couch and the orderly is pestering him and she just shoves the orderly out of the way and goes "Scri, pick up your damn head so I can sit down and pet your hair."
