My entry for the Face Your Monster contest. Inspired by Tim Burton and irrational fears of dark closets.Mask is made from paper clay and I used Super Sculpey for the teeth. Painted with acrylic and finished with a gloss.
Awesome thing about this mask is that because it's made from paperclay, it's really LIGHT! Took about a week and a half from start to finish.

I was debating over using hot glue to make it look like it was drooling but was afraid that I wouldn't be able to fix it if something went wrong or I didn't like it.

yeah, hot glue is difficult to remove, i find it is only removable off of flat surfaces anything with grooves would end up either being torn off with it or not able to be removed anyway.
it looks great even without drool
