I like it, not a lot's done with Mirage. Art's pretty good too. Bluestreak makes an excellent choice for discussing Mirage's past loyalties; Cliffjumper would have been too cliche.

Yeah! I am becoming tired of most of the cliches of both comics and anime regarding characterization. Sometimes everything is too non-dimensional. I like characters to be a bit ambiguous. To have a bit of mystery to themselves too keep them interesting and keep up guessing what's up with s/he. That approach to Mirage taken here sounds more than interesting and I see it as the story of a rich guy that got involved with the wrong people trying to gain their friendship or prove something with less than pleasing results and now he's doing anything he can to redeem himself. Keep up the good job!

This was meant tobe just a spin off of the larger Ratbat 22-pages comic, but it became very representative of the goals of our Seeds Of Deception fancomic... the machinations of the future Decepticons during the golden age, the focus on relatively underused characters, the nod to G1 with new bits of info on history/personality of the characters.
Like the Spotlight comics by Furman!
