I was inspired by the crows and ravens that I got to see in Colorado while I was there the other week. I drew a scene of a girl cowering and covering her face. Above a raven spreads its wings protecting her from all the tears that fall. Even in the branches the word 'tears' can be seen in the center. I made the piece fairly symmetrical and set the girl off center to help symbolize that fact that she feels out of place. This drawing is a piece about a girl having a raven as a protector.
