I still have some vellum left over from my drafting days, I need to haul it out and try it again with some of my more modern pens. I used to do old-school drafting on Mylar and vellum with Kohinoor pens and India ink.

Are you using dip pens & brushes with ink or the sealed pens like Microns?

sealed microns - i use about 7 sizes
