You know the story: Kirby crash-lands into Dreamtropolis when his birth planet was destroyed by an unknown threat. yet cartoon mayhem lurks in this colorful world, and he realizes he must rely on either melee or copy abilities if he's to survive a city filled with all manner of chaotic phenomena from bulletproof androids to harlequin girl scouts to heroes-gone-rogue.

It's set to return in the spring of 2017 with Kirby's frenemy, King DeDeDe, finally making an appearance. and this time it'll focus more on standard comedy and action with the returning elements of slapstick-styled peril and the dark tone being removed due to the failure of Maximum Karnage which was considered too dark, dramatic and serious.
