I believe that few words are needed to condemn war. Some may argue that this sentiment alone achieves little, and from my personal standpoint, I may not possess the power to effect substantial change. However, what I can do is draw attention to the matter. Media profits from war until it becomes uninteresting. War remains captivating for the media until another tragedy unfolds elsewhere—whether it's a submarine incident or a wild boar being mistaken for a lion in Germany. It's convenient that we can always point to other issues. These are the types of media we seem to require. And then the cycle continues with sportwashing, shifting focus to women's football, and suddenly the world appears harmonious again, allowing us to embark on our vacations with a sense of reassurance.
