STORM CENTER is the third member of the team I created in 2000 to serve any tactical needs the Autobots may have in the arctic regions.
BASIC PROFILE
In HOW COLD THE NIGHT, STORM CENTER is one of five selected by ULTRA MAGNUS to join him on a new mission to find a way to prevent the death of their home planet. Chosen from several candidates provided by Council Elder TRECATHLUS -- he comes from something of an impoverished class of Cybertronians and thus willing to endure much for a chance to upgrade and improve.
Originally named REFUGE, STORM CENTER is genteel, as befits his function, but has on a rare occasion been known to exhibit a quiet -- yet deep -- fear of failure. Desperately dedicated to the protection of his friends, he makes a compelling choice for curative duties, and ULTRA MAGNUS believes his relatively non-descript facade is a potentially good aid in the psychological aspect of patient care.
