I couldn't handle it, my life was out of control and finally I snapped, or maybe I finally awakened? It was hard to to tell. I realized there was nothing left for me in Eden. My children have grown up with out me in their life, they could continue on. As for Callahan. Well I always loved him... always will, yet after the death of our two pups, nothing was the same anymore. We could hardly speak to one another let alone look at each other. I feel as if I destroyed the only goof thing in my life. Yet somehow I was still allowed to live while my innocent pups laid half eaten in the wastelands? No this wasn't fair. I would pay for my sins, that I knew. Yet I could not shame them with a death in Eden. I must vanish like my father. Let the wastelands control my fate. So late at night I left mask on I gave a sad excuse for leaving, yet my gate guard comrades agreed and let me pass with out much questions. As soon as I was out, I took off my mask and ran. In these short moments I tasted what no other canine has tasted before. Freedom. No longer trapped, I was like bird set free from the cage, this feeling was beyond most I felt. Legs moved faster and soon those rocky mountains was in sight. I continued until dusk and soon I was climbing up those steep mountains I slipped and fell a few times I will admit, yet my mind was made up and it as to late for my to go back. I was then on top of the mountain, and maybe on top of the world. Oh the sight I saw, the beauty that was beheld in this place left me in awe, to the point of almost madness. I sighed heavily having to make sure there was no way to walk out of this scotch free, so I ran my neck against the rocks slitting my neck and with seconds I looked up to the sky and I saw them all. My family, my babies and my Callahan. Oh he was smiling and he looked so loving to me. "Soon my dear guilly." he whispered to me. "Soon." I wept for a moment before I looked back up into the sky, "Forgive me... for waiting so long." with out a moment to loose, I stepped forwards, then my world went black.
