Maya leaves the Resonator control center and spots another Maya clone, which seems a bit odd. It is Cynthis whom had just exited the elevator looking for the Master Computer room.

“What are you doing on this level”?

“I came to check the Master Control Computer for possible errors in the program. I suspect a flaw in the programming has caused a viral anomaly in the Brenda clones”.

Maya is suspicious of her explanation, but knows she is correct with the assumption. “Were you told to correct this anomaly”?

“Negative, but I feel it’s my obligation to investigate, and report if there is such an anomaly”.

Maya can not escape her logic as she nods to confirm her belief. “Then go to the MCC, and I want you to shield it as well”.

“Shield it, for what purpose”?

“The Mistress has order the EMP be activated complex wide to draw out the android, after that return to your work station”.

“And what of the anomaly”?

“The anomaly will be dealt with; the mistress has ordered that all the Brenda clones be taken offline”.

Cynthis ponders what Maya said, and looks somewhat odd. “Genocide, is that a wise decision”?

“If we bring the Brenda clones offline, aren’t we endangering ourselves as well? We may be clones, butt we are not soulless, and from what data we collected, we can save the other Brenda’s by simply reinitializing their Genetic code, and remove the Dark matter from their molecules”.

Maya once again cannot escape her logic as she replies. “None the less we have our orders, and I have mine”.

As she moves toward the elevator, Cynthis turns to her, and ask. “We are instilled with the memories of Maya Hudson, a trusted assistant to Doctor Annika Sorenson. Tell me if this is true, that you never questioned the actions we carry out for the Mistress”. With that Cynthis continued on her journey as Maya paused at the open door to the elevator, and turns and watches Cynthis enter the corridor to the MCC.
