Well, I'm still pretty stoked about the new Indy movie (after having been disappointed the first viewing, I'm happy to say the film gets much better upon multiple viewings) but I don't have any new Indy art to show you or any new sculpts.So we'll switch gears back to Star Wars. Here's a Luke Skywalker 1/6 scale sculpt that I made for Sideshow. It's for a 12" figure that's set to come out next month. you can check out the final prototype here:

I love the detail you put into these sculptures. Even at a 6th the scale, you manage to add the small details, like his moles, which were tiny to begin with!

This is awesome. You've perfectly captured A New Hope-era Luke's likeness... Seriously, especially the side profile views, it looks like exactly like him.

gollum expresions....and the totally scene....is just make in inside that movie agayn and agayn,,,,i see the wip yoda goku and anakin vs obiwan...now i need to see gollum frodo...just for fell more and more depressed....ajjja

The paint job on the figure takes a lot away from how good your sculpt is. Excellent likeness.

i cant believet how trev can make so natural so expresions in his work...i love his art .....just enjoy evrey single peace that he made...is just so fantastic so realistic...i and se that is no just the likenees...is what do you want to say whit the face...whit the eyes....
is a totally complement of things ...that you tray to put toghether...for tray to get the special..expresions...

weel...that you deserved trev....by away...im talk whit pablo abouht your work..he is really fan too...he hade the gollum and frodo diorama..an he say is azomng...is there some oportuniti to see a wip abouht portrait...or do you post some wip ..in another web??
im new here i dont konw to used the web----few people saw my art ..is there is sopme fspecial forum for guys ..like us..? ..i mean portrait..and figures sculpture....thanks a lot..

I'm thrilled that Pablo likes the Gollum and Frodo diorama. I'll have to show you some pictures of that piece. It's a really small statue, but it was a pretty cool project to get to do. I love Pablo's work, so it's really cool to hear that!!

Hey man,
I'm doing well, thanks for asking! I'm really overwhelmed with work at the moment, but that's a good thing, I think. Sculpting seems to be tougher as I keep doing it. I thought it would get easier.
The sculptors you mention, Jeff and Kyle-I'm familiar with some of their work. it's AMAZING stuff. Jeff Yagher has done work for Sideshow. I'm a bit hard pressed to tell you which pieces he did though. I know he did the "Duel of The Fates" Star Wars diorama, or at least I think he did. I'm not too sure where you might find galleries for these sculptors though.... Kyle Windrix was my favorite toy sculptor when I was a kid. I knew all the stuff he was working on back then!
I'm not sure when I'll be able to post some new WIP pictures of my work. I suppose after Comic Con next week, there may be a couple of pieces I worked on unveiled. we'll see! if so, I'll try to post some pics.

From what I have seen of many Luke sculptures and having drawn him myself, his likeness is difficult to capture. However, you have done an amazing job with this!
